GLASTONBURY!

Another amazing thing that happened to me recently was attending Glastonbury festival! It was an incredible, awe inspiring experience, from the number of people who were there to the scale of the campsite and wonderful, creative things to see and do over the five days. I loved how, even if you didn't see any music over the five days, there where so many things to see and do across the campsite to keep you busy...

..but of course the range and talent of the live music was AMAZING! My favourite acts of the weekend are Florence and the Machine, Muse, Scissors Sisters with Kylie, Shakira, We Are Scientists and, of course, Stevie Wonder.

Stevie Wonder - a music legend and hilarious performer. A brillant way to end the festival, being the only act that all 11 of my friends wanted to see and dance to together.

Shakira looked absolutely beautiful, shaking her hips and her long blonde hair in an entrancing rhythm fashion.

The Scissors Sisters were as camp, funny and wonderful as to be expected, getting the whole crowd dancing. Although I already knew about Kylie joining them on stage to perform 'Any Which Way', when she came on stage I got as excited as if it was a complete suprise, with them singing and dancing together as if they have been for years.

Florence was an amazing performer, so grateful and humble that such a large crowd had turned up to see her. I loved her outfit, with the soft, floaty chiffon shoulder looking beautiful with her dance moves.

The Next Big Thing....

I have recently neglected this blog due to finishing my course and moving my life back to Surrey. One of the things that happened during this busy busy time was attending the Nottingham Trent 2010 graduate fashion show. The clothes and the talent blew me away, but one collection stood out the most for me...Rosemary Morton.

Called 'Urban Hero' and inspired by superheros, I love the classic and elegant lines and silhouettes of the clothes contrasting against the strong, bold patterns and colours.
